Muslim family rejects new crash death reports.

President of ISIJ paid his condolence with the family head in Lahore Pakistan.

ISIJ ( Bahrain 3rd Feb 2008) . A report that a fourth member of a Bahraini family died following a road accident in Saudi Arabia was dismissed as untrue yesterday. The article, in another English-language newspaper, caused distress and confusion amongst the family’s relatives & friends, said an Interior Ministry official. The GDN accurately reported on Friday that Bahraini Kamal Ahamed Nazeer, 48, his wife Iffat Tahira, 38, and daughter Nada, 20, had been killed in the crash, while sons Adel, 17 and Amir 13 were injured.

But another Bahraini newspaper wrongly reported that Amir died and Adel had been left blind. The accident happened at around 9am on Thursday when the family was driving from Mecca to Medina. Kamal, Iffat and Nada died on the spot while Adel and Amir are being treated at the King Fahad Hospital in Medina and showing signs of recovery. The crash was apparently caused when their Pajero lost control when a tyre burst and the vehicle somersaulted three times. It emerged yesterday that Nada, whose father was a photographer at Hoora Police Station, was almost six months pregnant. She had married only seven months ago and wanted to perform Umrah before her child was born.

Her husband Kashif was also to join her in Bahrain soon. Kashif, who left his job in the US, was planning to settle in Bahrain. His papers are being processed. “Nada had come to Bahrain just one month earlier, after her marriage in Pakistan.” sources said. “Kamal’s wife Iffat Tahira, Nada as well as Kamal died at the scene but the accident did not happen due to speeding.” The Interior Ministry source also strongly dismissed reports in the same newspaper that Adel lost his eyesight.

“There have been reports in other media that Amir died due to injuries at a Saudi hospital on the same day of the accident,” he said. “His condition is stable though he is still under observation and we hope that he will recover.” “The same media also reported that Adel lost his eyesight but that is not true.” “He was wearing contact lens at the time of the accident and his eyes had to be operated on.” “Though it is too early to say anything, chances are that he will be fine.”

Hospital officials confirmed that the two boys are recovering though they were still in a state of shock. All three children were born and brought up in Bahrain and went to the Pakistan Urdu School, added the source. The bodies of Tahira, Nada and Kamal were buried on Saturday at the Nabawi Mosque, Medina, in the presence of relatives. Relatives, friends and colleagues can pay their respects to the deceased at the Al Banna Mosque near the Gulf Club, Muharraq for three days from today.

The timing will be 8am to noon and 3pm to 7pm till Wednesday.

The Central President of ISIJ, Syed Akbar Abbas and Mrs. Masooma Abbas has also visited the family of Iffat Tahira for paying condolence with her elder brother Mohammed Sarfraz and his family in Lahore Pakistan. The above reports have been confirmed personally.
